1. About Green Green Grass Life Coaching

Green Green Grass Life Coaching provides one-to-one life coaching and related coaching services designed to support clients with personal reflection, direction, confidence, goals, motivation and positive change.

Coaching is a collaborative process. The purpose is to help you explore your own ideas, choices and possibilities and to support you in taking action that is right for you.

Green Green Grass Life Coaching does not guarantee any particular result or outcome from coaching.

2. What Life Coaching Is — and Is Not

Life coaching is a supportive and goal-focused conversation.

Coaching is not medical treatment, psychotherapy, counselling, psychiatric care, financial advice, legal advice or any other regulated professional service unless expressly stated otherwise.

The coach will not diagnose medical or mental-health conditions or prescribe or recommend medication.

If you require medical, psychological, financial, legal or other specialist support, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

If you are experiencing an emergency or believe that you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency or crisis service rather than relying on Green Green Grass Life Coaching.

3. Coaching Sessions

Coaching sessions will normally be provided in person at my home in Epsom or at a venue that suits the client. I can also deliver coaching sessions remotely using Zoom or Microsoft Teams technology.

The length, frequency and number of sessions will be agreed with you before coaching begins.

Each session will provide an opportunity to discuss matters relevant to your goals and circumstances. You remain responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take.

The coach may provide questions, exercises, observations, suggestions, resources or agreed actions to support your development.

You are not required to accept any suggestion made during coaching.

4. Your Responsibilities as a Client

To get the most from coaching, you agree to:

- participate honestly and openly where you feel comfortable doing so;
- take responsibility for your own decisions and actions;
- communicate if something about the coaching process is not working for you;
- attend sessions at the agreed time;
- provide reasonable notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a session; and
- ensure that you are in a suitable environment for confidential coaching where sessions take place remotely.

You remain responsible for your own wellbeing, choices and actions throughout the coaching relationship.

5. Fees and Payment

The fee for coaching will be agreed with you before your coaching programme or individual session begins.

Current fees: £100 per session.

Payment is due before each session using a bank transfer to my Barclays Business Bank account. Alternatively, in exceptional circumstances, I am happy to be paid in cash. This needs to be agreed before the first session starts.

Any package or programme fees will be explained clearly before you commit to the package.

No additional charges will be made unless they have been agreed with you in advance.

6. Booking, Cancellation and Rescheduling

Once a coaching session has been booked, that time will be reserved for you.

If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, please provide as much notice as possible and, where applicable, at least 24 hours' notice.

Where sufficient notice is provided, the session may be rearranged without charge.

Where a client fails to attend or cancels with less than the agreed notice, Green Green Grass Life Coaching may charge the agreed cancellation fee or treat the session as used, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Any cancellation policy will be applied reasonably and fairly.

Where statutory cancellation rights apply to your contract, those rights will not be excluded by these Terms.

7. Your Right to Cancel

If you purchase coaching services online, by telephone or through another method that creates a distance contract, you may have statutory cancellation rights under applicable UK consumer law.

Where those rights apply, Green Green Grass Life Coaching will provide the required cancellation information.

If you ask for coaching services to begin during a statutory cancellation period, you may be asked to expressly request that the service begins during that period. Where legally permitted, if you subsequently cancel after services have begun, you may be responsible for the proportion of the service already provided.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Confidentiality

Green Green Grass Life Coaching will treat information shared during coaching sessions as confidential, subject to the limits described in these Terms and any applicable legal obligations.

Information may need to be disclosed where:

- you give permission for it to be shared;
- disclosure is required by law;
- disclosure is necessary to protect someone from serious harm; or
- another legal or professional obligation requires disclosure.

Where appropriate and legally possible, the coach will discuss any intended disclosure with you beforehand.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

Green Green Grass Life Coaching may collect and use personal information necessary to provide coaching services, communicate with you, arrange appointments, process payments, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal obligations.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and Green Green Grass Life Coaching's Privacy Notice.

Our Privacy Notice will explain what information is collected, why it is used, how long it is retained, who it may be shared with and the rights available to you.

10. Coaching Records

The coach may keep reasonable records relating to appointments, payments and coaching sessions.

Any coaching notes will be handled appropriately and in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

You can contact Green Green Grass Life Coaching if you have questions about the personal information held about you.

11. Communication Between Sessions

Where agreed, you may contact the coach between sessions for practical matters relating to appointments or agreed coaching activities.

Unless specifically agreed as part of your service, communication between sessions is not intended to provide continuous coaching or emergency support.

The coach will aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

12. Boundaries and Professional Relationship

The coaching relationship is professional and exists to support your agreed coaching objectives.

Green Green Grass Life Coaching aims to provide a respectful, inclusive and non-judgemental environment.

The coach reserves the right to end or pause a coaching relationship where appropriate, including where there is abusive, threatening or seriously inappropriate behaviour, or where continuing the relationship would not be appropriate.

Where reasonably possible, this will be discussed with the client.

13. Results and Personal Responsibility

Coaching can support reflection, awareness, decision-making and action, but individual results will vary.

Green Green Grass Life Coaching makes no guarantee that coaching will result in a particular personal, professional, financial or other outcome.

You remain responsible for your decisions, choices and actions.

14. Coaching Materials

Any worksheets, exercises, written materials or resources supplied by Green Green Grass Life Coaching are intended for your personal use unless otherwise agreed.

You must not reproduce, sell, distribute or commercially exploit Green Green Grass Life Coaching materials without prior written permission.

15. Intellectual Property

The Green Green Grass name, logo, branding, original coaching materials and other intellectual property belonging to Green Green Grass Life Coaching remain the property of the business or the relevant rights holder.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property to the client.

16. Online Sessions and Technology

Where coaching is provided online, sessions may depend on third-party technology such as video-conferencing, telephone or internet services.

Green Green Grass Life Coaching will take reasonable steps to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party technology.

If technical problems prevent a session from taking place, the coach and client will work together to rearrange the session where reasonably possible.

17. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to those protections, Green Green Grass Life Coaching will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.

18. Complaints

Green Green Grass Life Coaching wants clients to feel comfortable raising any concerns.

Please explain the nature of your concern and, where possible, what you would like to happen to resolve it.

Green Green Grass Life Coaching will consider complaints fairly and will aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

19. Ending the Coaching Relationship

Either the client or the coach may decide to end the coaching relationship.

Where a coaching package has been purchased, any refund or outstanding payment will be handled in accordance with the agreed package terms, these Terms and applicable consumer law.

Nothing in this section affects any statutory cancellation or consumer rights.

20. Changes to These Terms

Green Green Grass Life Coaching may update these Terms from time to time.

Where changes materially affect an existing client or their agreed service, reasonable notice will be provided where appropriate.

The version of the Terms applicable to a booking will normally be the version provided or made available to the client at the time of booking.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the law of England and Wales, unless another jurisdiction is required to apply by law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising any mandatory legal rights available to them.

22. Acceptance

By booking or purchasing coaching services from Green Green Grass Life Coaching, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to read these Terms and understand the nature of the service being provided.

You understand that life coaching is a collaborative process and that you remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and wellbeing.
